Matt Cardona is alwayz ready to ruin a wrestling wedding.

It was announced last week that Steph De Lander and PCO were getting married on last night’s episode of TNA iMPACT. The wedding closed the broadcast and featured the surprise return of Matt Cardona. The former Digital Media Champion was previously out of action due to a torn pectoral muscle.

Just as PCO was about to kiss Steph De Lander, the lights went out, and Cardona’s trademark entrance theme hit. He seemingly came to the ring with a gift and while De Lander was in shock, she was very happy to see her partner in crime back at the same time.

While it appeared that Cardona was bringing the happy couple a wedding gift, it was quickly proven not to be the case. As Cardona entered the ring, he swiftly hit PCO with the gift and then revealed that the gift was nothing more than a cinder block. He then proceeded to destroy all of the wedding decorations.

Matt Cardona tried to leave with Steph De Lander but got an earful from his former bodyguard instead of ruining her wedding. The Indy God would leave the ring frustrated as De Lander cried in anger and frustration at having her big moment ruined.

Steph De Lander claims Triple H would have loved her look

Recently, the Australian-born star was sat down for an interview on the Generation of Wrestling Podcast. During the interview, she mentioned that if Triple H had been running the show during her time there, he would have appreciated her current look.

“When I was there, it wasn’t Triple H. Triple H wasn’t running the show,” Steph De Lander said. “And I think if Triple H… I think if I looked the way that I do now, then, he probably would have loved my look. Because he likes alternative-looking women. He likes Rhea Ripley, he likes Shotzi. We’ve seen that trend. Whereas when I was at WWE, in NXT, it was run by Vince and John Lauranitis. And you can see that the look that they kind of favored was the more classic, All-American-looking female. That’s not to say one’s better than the other.

“I felt like I was an alternative-looking person in a position where they didn’t want alternative-looking women at the time. So then, once I got released, it was like, well, this Persia Pirotta thing is out the window, that’s done, that’s over. Who am I? And like, what the f*** am I doing?”
