Maya Rudolph & Jake Gyllenhaal Set As Final Hosts For Season 49 Of ‘Saturday Night Live’

Saturday Night Live is closing out Season 49 with two three-peats.

After Dua Lipa pulls double duty on May 4, Maya Rudolph will host the sketch comedy show for the third time on May 11. Vampire Weekend will make its fourth appearance as musical guest.

On May 18, Jake Gyllenhaal will return to host the Season 49 finale. It will also mark his third time hosting SNL. For the finale, Sabrina Carpenter will make her musical guest debut.    

SNL is sailing on a high note after Ryan Gosling hosted in April, garnering the show’s largest seven-day audience in years. In fact, NBCU says the Barbie and Fall Guy actor now lays claim to the most-watched episode of Saturday Night Live ever on Peacock.
