Maybe Later? Another Update On Brock Lesnar’s Potential Return To WWE

Not quite. There have been countless names in WWE’s history and only a small handful of them have made a major impact on the promotion. Those wrestlers are often well remembered even after they are not around as often. Occasionally you will still see some of them pop up again, though that does not seem likely with one of the more controversial figures in WWE history.

Earlier this month, multiple references to Brock Lesnar, hinting at a possibility that Lesnar could be returning to the company after more than a year away. However, according to PWInsider Elite by way of Cagesideseats.com, Lesnar is still “off the board” and there is nothing to suggest that WWE is planning to bring him back. References to Lesnar are merely being used to advance the current storylines. Lesnar had been rumored for a return before being connected to the Vince McMahon/Janel Grant lawsuit.

Opinion: This makes sense, as WWE bringing Lesnar back would be quite the stretch at this point. With Lesnar being attached to the lawsuit, there is quite a bit of baggage that would come back to WWE with him. It seems that WWE is realizing this and that very well could mean that we aren’t going to be seeing Lesnar again. If nothing else, we won’t be anytime soon, which makes sense.
