The more time passes, the more the president of La Liga is convinced that Kylian Mbappé will sign for Real Madrid.

Last Saturday, the “Mbappé soap opera” experienced a new episode. After seven seasons spent at Paris Saint-Germain, the native of Bondy should pack his bags next June according to The Parisian. His departure for Real Madrid seems more and more likely, as Laure Boulleau explained on Sunday evening on “Canal Football Club”.

Like the sports journalist, Javier Tebas is convinced of this outcome. “I said it was around 50/50 a few weeks ago, now it’s even more (…) 55/60% chance? Yes, I think so. Every day that passes and Mbappé does not sign the new contract with PSG, the percentage increases”confided the president of La Liga, during a live on the platform Kick, during a question and answer game with transfer market specialist Fabrizio Romano.

The lights are green

The Spanish leader’s confidence seems unwavering. “I don’t know the costs of the deal with Mbappé, but anyway, Real has an excellent financial situation. They’ve never done anything crazy in recent years.”recalls Javier Tebas.

Kylian Mbappé signed for PSG in the summer of 2017, from AS Monaco, for an amount of 180 million euros. To this day, it remains the second biggest transfer in the history of football, behind Neymar who arrived a few days earlier from Barça for 222 million.
