Ligue 1 is not ready to see a player of the caliber of Kylian Mbappé again. Habib Beye deplores that followers of French football are not really aware of this.

After nine seasons spent in the French championship, two at AS Monaco then seven at Paris Saint-Germain, Kylian Mbappé has therefore bowed out. The man who became the top scorer in the history of the capital club should be sorely missed in Ligue 1 next season.

For Habib Beye, observers of French football do not realize what they are losing. “I am surprised by the coldness of the emotions regarding Mbappé’s departure. For me, he was the only star of this championship. We will have to build a new star and I am not sure that it exists in Ligue 1”warned the sports consulate at the microphone of Canal+.

Mbappé, the ingratitude of the French public

The former Red Star coach even feels a form of ingratitude towards the native of Bondy. “When I hear all the criticisms, they are logical in view of his performances in recent weeks. But we must not forget that this boy has brought French football to a level that no one would have hoped for when we saw him start in Monaco.reminds Beye.

Before formalizing his arrival at Real Madrid and joining the French team with a view to preparing for the Euro, the captain of the Blues is having a good time. In the wake of PSG’s success in the Coupe de France final, he put the heading to Monaco to attend the Grand Prix.
