Real Madrid are worried about introducing their fans to new signing Kylian Mbappé with a bruised and broken nose after his Euro 2024 injury.

Mbappé broke his nose jumping with a header during the 1-0 win over Austria at Euro 2024. The Frenchman has been replaced and will need surgery at some point, although France are considering clearly to use it for the rest of his tournament. However, according to L’Equipe, Real Madrid are not happy with what happened to their new recruit’s face.

The report claims that Madrid’s concerns relate to the presentation of crack to supporters later in the summer. When he finishes Euro 2024, the Bondynois will go under the knife and head to the Santiago Bernabeu to be presented in front of the Madrid faithful. But senior club officials fear the media will capture Mbappé with a bruised and broken face following his incident, which would take away from the spectacle.

Real Madrid not happy

Mbappé is yet to score at the Euros The Blues’ prolific talisman was in fine form for Paris Saint-Germain in 2023-24, scoring 44 times, but the 25-year-old can’t seem to find the net for his country this summer, missing a particularly shocking face-to-face against Austria.

Madrid will hope that their star will recover very quickly over the coming weeks and can be officially unveiled without any visible injuries. The player himself may have to sit out at least for the next game, but will return with a mask to prevent further damage to his nose.
