Olympique de Marseille is saying goodbye to Renan Lodi as his successor at left-back arrives, we learned on Saturday. A deal has been reached with Josh Doig.

Renan Lodi, it’s obviously over. OM have found a successor to the Brazilian international at left back, specialist journalist Fabrizo Romano said on Saturday. The Marseille club would have agreed, 100%, with Josh Doig.

The 21-year-old Scot, who has played for Hellas Verone (Serie A) since July 2022, is expected to undergo the medical examination next week. Renan Lodi is seriously tracked by Al-Hilal, explains Romano.

The Saudi Arabian club, where his compatriots Neymar and Malcom play in particular, wishes to resolve the matter by Monday.
