A new report provides an update on Mercedes Moné’s contract with AEW.
Per Marc Raimondi of ESPN, AEW announced that Moné had signed a multiyear contract with the promotion.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider then noted that both WWE and AEW had pursued Moné, and they were willing to commit to deals that totaled eight figures. This would likely make Mercedes one of the top female performers in wrestling history.
Additionally, Raimondi noted that Mercedes said she has fully recovered from the career-threatening foot injury that sidelined her for several months.
