The rivalry between AEW’s Mercedes Moné and CMLL star Stephanie Vaquer continues to heat up.
Mercedes Moné made a surprise appearance at the CMLL x NJPW FantasticaMania Mexico event on June 21. Vaquer defeated La Catalina to retain the NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship, and “The CEO” confronted her after the bell. They went back and forth on the microphone and briefly brawled before they were separated.

Moné and Vaquer will face each other in a Title for Title match at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on June 30.
