There’s no denying that Mercedes Moné and Kris Statlander have put on some memorable matches at the end of 2024. Both taking place at Full Gear and then Worlds End with the TBS Championship on the line.
In her Moné Mag for this week, Moné discusses her recent matches with Statlander:
“In my heart, I knew that Kris had pushed me to be better, to think creatively, and to fight with everything I had.
She’s not just a formidable opponent, but I think I’ve found another wrestling soulmate who challenges me to elevate my game.”
Moné and Statlander will likely meet again down the road, but Moné is currently set to face Mina Shirakawa at NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty on Jan. 5.
