The pro wrestling world is full of stories, and one report about Keith Lee was apparently shut down. This came from his wife, Mia Yim, so it holds a bit of weight to what she says.

Keith Lee was supposed to wrestle Swerve Strickland at AEW Worlds End. That match was pulled from the card when Keith Lee was not medically cleared to compete. Now, we have a conflicting report about his health situation.

Ringside News previously reported that Keith Lee revealed on a private account via Haus of Wrestling that he will be having two surgeries. One operation is on his heart and one on his throat. He did not go into specific details about his medical issues.

“Took roughly 19 years…. but I guess it’s my turn,” he wrote.. “Time to get fixed. Here’s to double surgeries. Certainly one way to start 2024.”

Mia Yim saw Ringside News‘ report, and she fired a shot at us for reporting what Haus of Wrestling noted on their site. That call-out from Michin included an unwarranted insult, along with confirmation that the idea of Keith Lee getting heart and throat surgery is not true.

“Smdh. Ringside news is hot pressed garbage. I won’t state specifics but heart and throat surgery is absolutely false.”

Keith Lee has not been seen on AEW television since his Worlds End match was pulled. Sadly, that match against Swerve Strickland will have to wait even longer. We’re pulling for Keith Lee, and we’re hoping for a speedy recovery very soon, no matter what his affliction is.

You can check out Mia Yim’s tweet below. We will have more updates here at Ringside News as they are made available.

Additionally, Ringside News founder Steve Carrier issued a public apology on Ringside News’ behalf.
