Mike Santana reveals his dream matches.

Across his stints in TNA Wrestling, AEW, and the indies, Mike Santana has worked with a myriad of in-ring performers. A few, however, have also eluded him. During a recent interview with Tim Hann Rivera, Santana circled four names as his dream opponents.

“For me, honestly, AJ Styles is the man,” Santana said. “That dude, when you talk about TNA, he is the face. He is the one constant; he’s the homegrown. Randy Orton, legendary. This dude, I would love to work with him and just to learn from him.

“Another dude, Shingo Takagi, he’s a dude from New Japan right now. I remember watching him years ago also wrestling KENTA one-on-one. I got to wrestle him in April in a triple threat match, but me and him one-on one, it’d be insane. There’s a bunch of guys. I love Chad Gable. He’s an animal. He’s ridiculous, like talk about freak athlete, he’s ridiculous.”

Currently, Styles, Orton, and Gable reside under the banner of WWE, with the latter notably leading the American Made stable. Elsewhere, Shingo Takagi reigns as the NJPW NEVER Openweight Champion. At Wrestle Kingdom 19, he will defend it against AEW International Champion Konosuke Takeshita in a title-for-title match.

At TNA Genesis, Santana will battle former World Champion Josh Alexander in an “I Quit” match.
