“Spain international Mikel Merino has joined us from Real Sociedad (La Liga) on a long-term contract. The 28-year-old midfielder has been a vital member of the Sociedad squad since joining the Basque club in 2018. At the heart of their midfield, he has made 242 appearances, scoring 27 goals and providing 30 assists.”the London club said. He will wear the number 23.
