Miramax Lands Distribution Rights To Derek Cianfrance’s Next Film ‘Roofman’ Starring Channing Tatum And Kirsten Dunst

EXCLUSIVE: Derek Cianfrance‘s next film Roofman is starting to gain serious momentum as Miramax has landed domestic and international distribution rights. The film stars Channing Tatum and Kirsten Dunst with Cianfrance directing with Cianfrance co-writing the script with Kirt Gunn.

Based on the true story of Jeffrey Manchester – An inmate on the run hides in a place no one would look for him— a toy store. When this paradise of fun becomes a prison of loneliness, he falls for the one thing that can stop him from getting away— Love.

Longtime Cianfrance’s longtime collaborators Jamie Patricof (Hunting Lane) and Lynette Howell Taylor (51 Entertainment) will produce along with Alex Orlovsky and Duncan Montgomery for High Frequency Entertainment and Duncan Sellers for Limelight. Tatum, Cianfrance and Jonathan Montepare will exec produce as will Limelight’s Chris Parker.
