MJF will defend the AEW International Championship at the CMLL event on August 2nd.
The former AEW World Champion announced the news himself as he appeared in a taped message during CMLL’s Viernes Espectacular show on Friday. There is currently no word on who he will face on August 2nd.
As of this writing, the CMLL match is set to be MJF’s first title defense after he won the title on the July 17th episode of AEW Dynamite. There, he dethroned Will Ospreay in just under an hour.
