Tonight’s MLW Once Upon A Time In New York special kicks off with a recap package of MLW Intimidation Games that led to tonight’s event.

Cesar Duran comes out on the stage and says he’s back and bigger than ever before. Duran runs down Salina de la Renta. Duran announces he’s building a new temple for Azteca Lucha in Chicago, the crowd boos since they are in New York.

Cesar says on May 11; he will run the most spectacular Super Lucha event that has ever existed. Duran makes a challenge to Salina and tells her to bring her best luchadores to his event, and they will determine who has the power in Major League Wrestling.

Cesar asks Zayda who the hell she is and says her presence is disrespectful to him. Zayda says they got off on the wrong foot, but she wants to know why all of these Lucha promoters are so shady. Duran says it’s because they don’t deal with babies. Zayda begins to run down Salina de la Renta, who shows up on the Tron behind them and tells them all to be quiet.
