Moms Unplugged Initiative Launched in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: On Monday, Project Rashmi (Landmark Worldwide) teamed up with NGO Marham Resonating Resilience, Total Solutions Rehabilitation Society, Talk and Learn Therapy Centre, and Nayidisha to host the ‘Moms Unplugged’ initiative. This program focuses on promoting the mental health and well-being of mothers. It acknowledges their crucial role in families and aims to help with challenges like depression, anxiety, and other psychological issues.

The event was attended by notable figures including Padma Shri Dr. Manjula Anagani and RJ Shezzi. Over 100 participants joined, including famous mom influencers and experts in maternal and child health. Dr. Nabat Lakhani, founder of NGO Marham, and Dr. Nithya, a child psychiatrist, led the event along with a team of psychiatrists, pediatricians, gynecologists, psychologists, and therapists.

Dr. Nithya explained that the goal of ‘Moms Unplugged’ is to give mothers essential tools and strategies to handle life’s challenges confidently. The event included interactive activities and discussions on mental wellness, stress management, and resilience building, all led by experts.

Dr. Pooja Jha, founder of Total Solutions and a psychologist, highlighted the importance of creating a supportive community for all mothers. She welcomed single moms as well as moms of neurotypical and neurodivergent children to share their experiences and support one another.

Dr. Nabat Lakhani concluded by saying that this inaugural session is just the beginning of a series designed to create a safe space where mothers can focus on their well-being and thrive.
