Moose wants a championship that is worthy of being around his waist.
A few weeks ago, former TNA World Heavyweight Champion Moose defeated ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey to become the new TNA X-Division Champion. Now, the newly crowned champion is set to defend the championship at the TNA Genesis pay-per-view against Ace Austin. Not only that, he is also going to debut a brand new X-Division Championship.
Last night on TNA iMPACT! Moose addressed the crowd. He claimed to be the greatest X-Division Champion of all time. Then he demanded that Alisha Edwards dump the X-Division Title Belt outside the ring and stated that it was the ugliest title that Moose ever had to carry. He then announced that he would be debuting a brand-new X-Division Championship at TNA Genesis.
“I am the greatest X-Division Champion of all time. And at Genesis, Ace Austin is going to find out firsthand why you always trust The System. Because I am going to beat the living hell out of him. In fact, Lish, The Queen of The System, take this title and throw it out of my damn ring. Because that is the last time I want that piece of crap championship belt associated with me. Because at Genesis, I’m debuting a brand new X-Division Championship fit for the face of the franchise… That is the ugliest title I’ve ever seen in my life. And I’m embarrassed I had to carry that for the past few weeks,” Moose said.
