“We won’t be sharing about it, because there truly isn’t much to share. we both have to do what’s best for us, as well as indigo, while he’s still as young as he is,” she added, referencing her 4-year-old son with Wallen, 31.
Smith insisted that there is “nothing but love on both sides” because they haven’t done anything “wrong.”
“We just haven’t worked out in a while, and we both need to be the best version of ourselves,” she continued, noting that they will still be “rooting each other on from a distance.”

Smith and Scornavacco got married in April 2024, just five days after they got engaged. jombo_imkt/Instagram Smith denied that the speedy nuptials were a shotgun wedding. jombo_imkt/InstagramThe content creators had been together for less than a year when they wed. Smith rose to prominence following her relationship with Wallen, which was off and on from December 2016 to November 2019.
The breakup was reportedly rough on the country crooner, with sources claiming Wallen’s April 2024 arrest for throwing a chair over a bar balcony was due to him being upset over Smith moving on.
“KT’s marriage to Luke [Scornavacco] last week just crushed him,” an insider previously told the Daily Mail. “Whatever happened at that bar had to be reality hitting him in the face over losing the love of his life.”

Smith, however, downplayed the fact that her engagement played a part in her ex’s legal issues.
“Although it may seem like it correlates because of the timeline, I have no evidence to believe the incident had anything to do with the recent marriage announcement,” she told the Daily Beast at the time.
“I cannot speak on Morgan’s behalf, but I do pray the very best for him. Praying that this was just a slip-up and that he will return to the good path that he was on prior.”
