Move On Over: WWE President Nick Khan Hints At SmackDown Moving To Tuesdays

Mark your calendars. There have been all kinds of changes to the wrestling world in recent weeks and several of them have come today. This week saw the announcement that Monday Night Raw will be moving to Netflix starting in January 2025, marking the first time that a major WWE program is airing on a streaming service. There are still WWE shows on regular television, but one of them appears to be undergoing a big change.

WWE President Nick Khan appeared on the Pat McAfee Show this week and spoke about SmackDown moving to the USA Network this all when it current deal with FOX expires. Khan mentioned that SmackDown will be starting on October 1, which is a Tuesday. While not confirmed, this would suggest that SmackDown is moving from Friday to Tuesday nights when the new deal begins. WWE has not made any announcement regarding a change of nights.
