The biggest English teams continue to put pressure on the management of the Partenopei. But the native of Lagos wanted to reassure all the Neapolitan people. He intends to respect his contract and reiterated the love he had for the club, the city, the fans and the region. Since 2020, Osimhen has become a real idol in Naples, great architect of the historic Scudetto last season:

“There were a lot of high expectations when I arrived at Naples, but I had a series of injuries and then Covid set in. But people never gave up on me. Many of them cheered me up, sent me messages, sent me flowers… They showed me a lot of love. Helping them win the Scudetto is something I thank God for, because I was able to repay the trust they had in me… It’s an honor to play at the Maradona Stadium and hear them sing my name every time. time I score. I have to respect my contract. Whatever happens this summer, everyone will know. For now, I’m at Afcon and I’m focusing on that.”he declared in the columns of Guardian.
