Former SmackDown Women’s Champion Natalya is one of the most respected veterans in the wrestling world. She has competed all over the world. Recently, The self-proclaimed Best of All Time reunited with a legend in the Japanese Wrestling scene, former All Japan Women’s Pro Wrestling Champion Aja Kong.

Natalya took to Twitter to mention that she got a chance to visit and hang out with Kong. The two worked together during early days of The Queen of Harts’ wrestling career. Natalya also mentioned that she respects Aja Kong, and she spoke highly of what the latter has contributed to women’s professional wrestling.

“Had the most amazing visit with Aja Kong today. I worked with Aja on my very first tour of Japan. We teamed up together! She was wonderful to me. She really looked out for me. So much respect for her and what she’s given to women’s wrestling.

@ajakonguraken?” Natalya tweeted.

Natalya recently got back to winning ways by defeating Lola Vice in NXT

The Queen of Harts recently made a surprise return to NXT where she wrestled Lola Vice. Vice had a strong showing but was unable to get the win. After the match, in a Digital Exclusive interview, Natalya gave Lola Vice her props but still claimed that she was no match for the Best of All Time.

“I feel… Honestly, I’m just like speechless. Because it feels just surreal being back here. Even though I’m one of the most winning women in WWE, I do have a world record for that. But it’s been a minute since I actually had a victory in WWE. And these moments, I don’t take for granted. I just feel so honored to be here. Um… I almost got choked up when I heard the crowd. Like I just… It just made me emotional cuz it brought back so many memories of some of the best moments of my career that were at NXT, truly.

“And being in the ring with Lola, I realized more than ever that she is one of the fastest-rising stars in NXT. She’s amazing. But she’s not the B.O.A.T. And just knowing that she’s so talented but also seeing how cocky she is, it just felt really good putting her in her place tonight. And I don’t know… I just… I think I need to go celebrate with a glass of wine and some chocolate,” Natalya said.
