Netflix shared a recent compilation of the many programs set to premiere soon, including a new WWE behind-the-scenes series.
In a teaser trailer highlighting what some of its 2025 content will look like, Netflix revealed a brief snippet of WWE, a new behind-the-scenes series. The trailer didn’t reveal too much, aside from brief stills of Cody Rhodes and Rhea Ripley.
The series will join several other WWE projects in the works at Netflix. Besides Monday Night RAW’s premiere on January 6, it was previously announced that the two sides would work on a docuseries and “ancillary shoulder programming”.
Sami Zayn On WWE Moving To Netflix
Speaking on In The Kliq, Sami Zayn recently shared his thoughts on WWE moving to Netflix.
“Honestly, it’s hard to fully articulate just how massive this move is—not just for WWE and the wrestling business, but potentially as a litmus test for the entire entertainment industry. We may not fully grasp its impact for another five or ten years, when moves like this become more commonplace and people look back and say, ‘You know what? WWE saw where things were headed.'”
“I genuinely believe that will be the case. You can already see how fans have shifted from cable television to Netflix and other streaming services over the years. This is a huge step, and WWE has always had a knack for going all out when it matters.”
