Some very interest Premier League odds for the 2024/25 season where Newcastle United are concerned.
The Premier League fixtures (see below) having been announced earlier today.
After these past two seasons, the bookies clearly see potential opportunity for the NUFC owners.
If they and Eddie Howe get things right…
Listed below are the general Premier League odds available from the various bookies for the 2024/25 season:
Win the Premier League:
13/10 Man City
2/1 Arsenal
8/1 Liverpool
20/1 Chelsea
30/1 Man U
33/1 Newcastle United, Tottenham
66/1 Aston Villa
250/1 Brighton, West Ham
So Newcastle United rated joint sixth most likely…
Premier League relegation:
1/2 Leicester
5/6 Ipswich
6/4 Southampton
7/4 Everton
9/4 Forest
4/1 Wolves
5/1 Brentford
6/1 Fulham
9/1 Bournemouth
10/1 Palace
16/1 Man City
20/1 West Ham, Brighton
33/1 Chelsea
125/1 Villa
150/1 Newcastle United
250/1 Tottenham, Man U
2,000/1 Liverpool
2,500/1 Arsenal
Eddie Howe’s team seen as fifth least likely to go down in the 2024/25 season.
If you are wondering about Man City 16/1 odds on relegation, this is due to the possibility (probability?) of severe punishment from the 115 Premier League charges they face, which could include amongst other sanctions, points deduction or even relegation.
Finish top four:
1/10 Man City
1/4 Arsenal
4/7 Liverpool
6/4 Chelsea
7/4 Newcastle United
9/4 Man Utd
9/4 Tottenham
7/2 Villa
16/1 Brighton
16/1 West Ham
33/1 Crystal Palace
This is where, like me, I guess you will be giving most focus.
With fair luck, can Newcastle United bounce back into the Premier League top four and get Champions League football?
Well the bookies have NUFC as real contenders, fifth most likely.
