Nhooph Al-Areebi, formerly known as Aliyah, returned to the ring for the first time since September 2022.
The former WWE star competed at the Destiny Wrestling event on October 6, and she won the Santino Cup Rumble.
Al-Areebi commented on her return in a post on Instagram by saying, “What a time to be alive.”
WWE released Aliyah in a wave of cuts in September 2023. She had not been on television in a year prior to her release. During her time with the company, Aliyah won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship with Raquel Rodriguez.
