Over a year ago Vince McMahon was first accused of sexual misconduct when reports emerged that he paid $3 million as hush money to a former employee over an alleged affair. On further investigation, it was revealed that several other women also had nondisclosure agreements in regard to misconduct claims by Vince McMahon.
This resulted in Vince stepping away from the company before he came back to sell the company last year. Now a new report has emerged in which Vince McMahon was further accused of sexual assault, mental abuse, and sex trafficking.
This report couldn’t have come at a worse time for the company as they are about to host one of their biggest Premium Live Events of the year, the Royal Rumble. During the media scrum promoting the event, Haus of Wrestling asked Nia Jax if she was mentally affected by the latest Vince McMahon accusations.
Nia responded that the accusations don’t affect her. She then went on to praise her co-workers’ hard work and dedication towards the business.
“Oh, it doesn’t, you know, I’m all business. And, you know, this business is built on hard work and dedication, and that’s what every single wrestler in this room is doing right now, and so we just move forward. And it’s, you know, and we’re gonna put on an amazing show.”
Nia Jax will have a point to prove in the Royal Rumble match taking place tomorrow. She showed a lot of promise since returning and this could be the beginning of a dominant Nia Jax run.
