Nick and Aaron Carter’s sister Bobbie Jean’s cause of death has been revealed.
The Hillsborough County Medical Examiner in Florida told TMZ on Tuesday that Bobbie Jean died from intoxication by the combined effects of fentanyl and methamphetamine.
Legal documents, obtained by the outlet, noted medical examiner ruled the manner of death as accidental.
Bobbie Jean died in December. She was 41.
Bobbie Jean’s mother, Jane Carter, released a statement to TMZ at the time sharing that she was in “shock” over her daughter’s unexpected passing.
“I am in shock from learning of the sudden death of my daughter, Bobbie Jean; and I will need time to process the terrible reality of this happening for the third time,” she said, referring to death of Aaron in 2022 and Leslie Carter in 2012.
“When I am able to think clearly, I’ll release a fuller statement; but until then I would request to be left to grieve in private.”
