Not Yet? Interesting Update On NXT Star Being Drafted To Monday Night Raw, Future Not Secure

He isn’t? There have been quite a few issues in WWE recently involving contracts. Multiple wrestlers have had their contracts coming up but only some of them have signed new deals with the company. In theory, a wrestler being given a new, higher role in the company would suggest that their future is secured but that is not the case with a current Superstar who just got a promotion.

Earlier this week following Monday Night Raw, NXT’s Dijak was selected by Monday Night Raw in the supplemental Draft. This comes amid reports that Dijak’s current WWE contract is set to expire later this summer. According to Fightful Select, Dijak has neither signed nor been approached about signing a new deal with the company. Both sides are said to be confident that a new deal will be reached in time.

Opinion: The fact that WWE is willing to bring Dijak back up to the main roster would suggest that not only are they believing that he will be sticking around but also that they have something planned for him. Dijak is someone who has never gotten a serious chance on the main roster but this might be his big shot. Hopefully it works out, as his recent work in NXT is giving me quite the hope.
