Odyssey Jones faced allegations of domestic violence last year and it eventually led to WWE firing him. Jones would then address the allegations and has taken legal action against his ex-partner and now it appears he has accused his ex-partner of harassing him in a new petition.

According to POST Wrestling, court records show that Odyssey Jones, whose real name is Omari Palmer, was granted a protection order against his ex-partner in September 2024.

In his petition to the Ninth Judicial Circuit Court in Orange County, Florida, Palmer claimed he was being harassed and threatened by his ex-partner, starting with an incident on a cruise in May 2024, where he says she physically attacked him. Palmer stated that her behavior was becoming more aggressive, and he feared for his safety.

To date, there have been no criminal charges or arrests related to these incidents. On September 6, 2024, the Florida court granted Palmer a temporary protection order, which has been extended twice, most recently on January 6, 2025, for an additional three years, lasting until early 2028.

Palmer’s petition states that he and his ex-partner began dating in 2017 but separated in 2018. He claims he had a protection order against her in 2018 in New York, although her attempt to file an order against him was denied. Their relationship resumed in August 2023, but they did not live together.

Palmer also mentioned a December 2023 incident at a hotel in Ft. Lauderdale, where he claims his ex-partner “showed up uninvited and unannounced and attacked me in front of my friend and other witnesses.” He also described a May 2024 cruise incident, where she physically attacked him after accusing him of interacting with another woman.

“[S]he believed I interacted inappropriately with another female,” Palmer’s petition to the court stated about the incident on the cruise ship. “She became increasingly more irate and started punching, slapping, and kicking me. She was screaming at me the whole time. I attempted to defend myself from her attack by hugging her arms to her side.”

Palmer stated that after the cruise incident, his ex-partner made several threats and spread false information about him, including contacting his new employer, which he linked to his WWE release. He also filed a police report for stalking with the Maitland Police Department.

“After that incident, she has made numerous threats to get me back in any way she can,” Palmer’s petition from September 5 reads. “She has made up lies about me, and went as far as to contact my new place of employment and succeeded in getting me fired this week.”

The legal battle between Odyssey Jones and his ex-partner shows how serious claims of domestic harassment and violence can be. As the case continues, Jones is working to protect himself and get justice for what he says has been a long-term problem.
