IMG Credit: WWEThey weren’t happy. There have been all kinds of changes taking place in WWE in recent months and some of those changes are still set to come. Some of these changes involve where fans are going to be able to see the shows that WWE presents, as all three of the major television shows are getting new homes by the beginning of next year. It seems that at least one of these changes will be well received.

This week’s SmackDown featured a variety of edits and censorship, which was done by FOX due to various actions by fans. According to Fightful by way of Wrestlingnews.co, there was frustration backstage over the censorship, which included a chant of “F*** THE PACERS” and a child flipping off Nia Jax. One WWE Superstar, who was not on the show, reportedly said that it felt as if every segment was edited and it made WWE look bad, as fans believed they were responsible for the edits. SmackDown is set to return to the USA Network this September.

Opinion: It makes sense that the wrestlers are unhappy with what is going on as there is only so much that can be ignored before the censoring becomes a distraction. That is what took place this week, as the censorship eventually leaves fans missing parts of the show. That can be really distracting and you never want to see such a thing happening. Maybe it changes when the show moves back to USA, but it can’t get much worse.
