OM announced this Sunday the signing of Gerónimo Rulli, from Ajax Amsterdam.
It’s done! Geronimo Rulli signs for OM! The 32-year-old Argentinian goalkeeper is Marseille’s second recruit in this position after Jeffrey de Lange (Go Ahead Eagles).
He is the new signing of Roberto De Zerbi, who continues to reshape his team. Before joining Ajax, Rulli played in La Liga with Real Sociedad and Villarreal.
As an Argentina international, he was one of the players who won the 2022 World Cup. “He faces some pretty strong competition here, and we understand his desire to leave,” admitted Ajax technical director Alex Kroes. We wish him good luck for the rest of his career in Ligue 1.”
