FC Barcelona have confirmed their squad for the upcoming match against Deportivo Alavés this afternoon, with a notable return from Inigo Martinez.
The experienced centre-back has fully recovered from a torn femoral biceps in his right leg, which he sustained during the Spanish Super Cup final on January 12th.
Initially, he was expected to be sidelined for around four weeks, but Martinez has made a swift recovery and is set to rejoin the squad sooner than anticipated.
He was a key figure in the starting lineup before his injury, having played in 27 matches this season. Martinez was discharged this morning and is now ready to take part in today’s game.

Manager Hansi Flick will have to make do without Marc Bernal, Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Dani Olmo, and Andreas Christensen, all of whom are sidelined due to injury.
Olmo has been struggling with an overload in his soleus muscle and has not trained with the team this week, meaning he will also miss the match.
As Barcelona head into this important clash with Alaves at Montjuic, Flick will have to rely on the remaining fit players to secure a result.
The full list of players called up for today’s match, includes: Wojciech Szczesny, Inaki Pena, Jules Kounde, Ronald Araujo, Eric Garcia, Inigo Martinez, Pau Cubarsi, Alejandro Balde, Marc Casado, Frenkie de Jong, Fermin Lopez, Pedri, Gavi, Pablo Torre, Ferran Torres, Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha, Lamine Yamal, Pau Victor, Ansu Fati, Diego Kochen, Gerard Martin, and Hector Fort.
