Barcelona take on Sevilla tonight at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan in what will be a very important game for a number of reasons.

Firstly, it is the last game of the season, and a win would mean Barcelona finish the season in second place and qualify for the Spanish Super Cup next season, which is crucial given their financial condition.

Secondly, and perhaps more importantly, it is Xavi’s last game as Barcelona coach. The Spaniard was fired this week, and will not take charge as the manager next season. A perfect farewell would mean the world to him and the fans.

The Spaniard has chosen to go for his best available starting lineup for this game, deploying Robert Lewandowski as the striker, aided by Lamine Yamal and Fermin Lopez on the right and left-wing, respectively.

In midfield, we will see Ilkay Gundogan start alongside Pedri, who was on the scoresheet twice against Rayo Vallecano last weekend. Andreas Christensen takes his place as the pivot behind them.

Finally, Joao Cancelo has been given the nod to start as the left-back in what could be his last game for Barcelona, as well, while Jules Kounde takes up responsibility as the right-back.

Marc-Andre ter Stegen holds the fort in goal, and will be screened by Pau Cubarsi and Inigo Martinez, with Ronald Araujo still unfit.
