Steve Austin was interviewed by FOX News and was asked about a potential appearance at WrestleMania 41, which will be held in Nevada, the state where Austin lives. Austin went on to say that he was willing to appear at WrestleMania if it made sense to him, though he did not specify what that would mean.
With regards to one more match, Austin spoke about the various issues that could come up, including timing, his body being in pain and planning everything out. Finally though, he did say that if it was something that made the fans happy and helped the company, he could do it. Austin last wrestled at WrestleMania 38, his first match in 19 years. WrestleMania 41 takes place on April 19 and 20, 2025.
Austin has done some great things at WrestleMania. Check out what has happened there over the years:
Opinion: Austin has teased returning to WWE multiple times for this show and I’m curious to see if it actually happens. At the end of the day, Austin has quite the reputation of never wanting to get back out there unless he is sure it is the right move and I’m not certain that is going to happen again. He has given us more than enough great moments, including at WrestleMania, and I’m not sure if it is worth risking things not going so well again.
