OL, Wolfsburg: Amin Sarr recounts his difficult beginnings

After a failed stint at Olympique Lyonnais, who had paid nearly €11 million to secure his services, Amin Sarr was sent on loan to Wolfsburg. But the Swede is going through complicated times in Germany, where he is put on the shelf and has only played eleven games since his arrival in the Bundesliga in August 2023. In an interview given to the club website, the 23-year-old player said: is confided about his difficult beginnings in Germany.

“Before my loan, I already knew that the Bundesliga was a very intense Championship. During the first months, I particularly worked on my physique in order to reach a new level. I treated every practice like a game and always gave 120%. Of course there were ups and downs, I was also injured in the meantime. But I learned a lot about myself, which could be decisive for the rest of my journey”he explained on the VFL website.
