He’s on the way. Injuries are terrible for wrestlers and the companies they work for, as they can change all kinds of things all at once. You never know when you are going to see a wrestler taken out of the ring for a long time and it brings up the question of how long it will take for them to get back. We might be getting ready for one of the bigger names going today to make a return.

According to Fightful Select, AEW is preparing for the return of Maxwell Jacob Friedman, who has been out of action since December with an injury. While there is currently no specific date planned for his return, Friedman is expected back by Forbidden Door on June 30, if not before. Friedman was signed to an extension after last year’s Double Or Nothing, leaving him with years on his deal with the company.

Friedman has done a lot in AEW. Check out his time in the company:

Opinion: This is quite the good news for AEW as Friedman being back could be a near game changer for them. At the end of the day, he’s one of the biggest stars the company has ever had and it would be great to have him back. Hopefully Friedman is back with a good story, as AEW is needing a boost after all of the time he has been stuck sitting on the sidelines.

What do you think of Friedman? How would you bring him back to AEW TV? Let us know in the comments below.
