On The Way: Update On Roman Reigns vs. The Rock, When It Probably Won’t Happen

Not just yet. Back at WWE Day One on January 1, the Rock made a surprise return to Monday Night Raw, where he teased a match with Roman Reigns. This has led to speculation over not only would the match take place, but also when and where. While there is still no guarantee on when the showdown will happen, we can now apparently write off two options.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio, while a match between Rock and Reigns has not been set up yet, it is not expected to take place at Elimination Chamber on February 24. Reigns is currently not advertised for the show, which will be held in Perth, Australia. Reigns is also not advertised for Backlash in Paris on May 4, meaning the match is not expected there either. The match would likely take place at WrestleMania 40, but this has not been confirmed.
