One More? Major Update On Potential New WWE Signee From The Anoa’i Family

It’s a family thing. There are several wrestling families throughout the injury and many of them have been around for several generations. It can be a big deal when one of those families adds a new member, especially if it is someone who can be added to the fold rather quickly. That might be what we are seeing soon with one of the most prominent wrestling families in WWE history.

Over the weekend, reports began to circulate that Jacob Fatu, a member of the Anoa’i Family, had been telling people he had signed with WWE. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Fatu is expected to be “starting soon” with WWE and is expected to receive a push. It is not clear if Fatu will be debuting with NXT or debuting as part of the main roster.

Opinion: I don’t think it’s much of a secret that Fatu, who is build like Umaga but has the ability to fire off a springboard moonsault, would be wanted by WWE. At the end of the day, Fatu has done some good things on the independent circuit, which should be enough to go with his family pedigree to make him a big star. It should be interesting to see what he does when he gets to WWE, which might not be much longer.
