Paramount+ has picked up the second season of the hit Australian comedy Colin From Accounts. Patrick Brammall and Harriet Dyer return to write, executive produce and star in the new season, which is currently in production in Australia.

The show follows the lives of two flawed and funny people who begin an unconventional romance after being brought together when Ash (Dyer) spontaneously flashes her nipple at Gordon (Brammall), causing him to hit and injure a dog with his car.

In addition to the pair, the cast also stars Emma Harvie as Megan, Helen Thomson as Lynelle, Genevieve Hegney as Chiara, Michael Logo as Brett and Tai Hara as James.

As Deadline revealed in December, Season 2 begins with Ash and Gordon living together and trying to get their beloved, disabled dog back from new owners. Hurbert-Burns said in a recent interview there would be “a journey to see how our heroes get reunited.”

Colin From Accounts quickly won over audiences with its quirky, relatable storylines and lovable characters,” said Jeff Grossman, Executive Vice President of Programming at Paramount+ in a statement. “Patrick and Harriet are crafting another phenomenal season, and we can’t wait to share what is next for Ashley, Gordon and Colin.”

“We’re SUPER EXCITED that Paramount+ has the good taste and exquisite judgment to renew us for another season,” added Brammall and Dyer.

Colin From Accounts is commissioned by the Foxtel Group and produced by Easy Tiger Productions and CBS Studios. Patrick Brammall, Harriet Dyer, Alison Hurbert-Burns, Lana Greenhalgh, Trent O’Donnell, Rob Gibson and Ian Collie serve as Season 2 executive producers and Kevin Greene will produce. Season 2 is financed with the assistance of Screen NSW, through the Made in NSW Fund. The series is distributed outside of Australia and New Zealand by Paramount Global Content Distribution
