Paul Danan has sadly died. The actor, who rose to fame the soap opera Hollyoaks, passed away at the age of 46, his management company confirmed. “Known for his television presence, exceptional talent, and unwavering kindness, Paul was a beacon of light to so many,” Independent Creative Management wrote on social media. “His untimely departure will leave irreplaceable voids in the lives of all who knew him. During this difficult time, we kindly request respect and privacy for Paul’s family, friends, and colleagues.” Keep reading to find out more… A cause of death was not yet made public. Paul began acting as a child on shows like Eastenders, but it was his role as Sol Patrick in Hollyoaks at age 19 that secured his star status. He would also appear on The Queen’s Nose, The Basil Brush Show and Casualty before pivoting into reality TV. He starred on Come Dine With Me, Celebrity Love Island and Celebrity Big Brother, and had a podcast called The Morning After With Paul Danan from 2019 to 2023. He also taught theater workshops in Bristol before launching Morning After Drama, a therapy program for helping people with mental health, addiction and trauma-related issues through acting.
