The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes had a lot to let out following The Rock’s verbal spat towards him and most importantly his family, courtesy of his popular ‘Rock Concert’ last week on SmackDown, but also got an important message delivered from his WrestleMania 40 Night 2 opponent, Roman Reigns.

The winner of the 2024 Royal Rumble came to the PNC Arena in Raleigh for tonight’s edition of Monday Night RAW to address The Rock’s derogatory remarks wrapped in an entertaining song on the blue brand.

He opened by acknowledging his WrestleMania opponent as one of the greatest champions of all time, Roman Reigns who he is set to confront this Friday on SmackDown. Rhodes then shifted his focus on The Rock, mentioning the Rock Concert and referencing his claim to be a heel, which Cody bluntly refused to accept.

Cody Rhodes then took a dig at The Rock’s power and influence at the TKO Board, while mentioning that he was the actual crybaby who cried behind the scenes when the fans sided with Rhodes kicking off the ‘We Want Cody’ movement. Furthermore, he finally mentioned The Rock’s remarks towards his mother, not before making it clear that unlike him, Cody had immense respect for The Great One’s mama and stating that Rhodes’ mother was more dangerous than he could ever imagine.

Rhodes concluded his statement by calling The Rock, not the final boss, but only Roman Reigns’ sidekick and at that moment, The Bloodline’s Wiseman Paul Heyman came out to interrupt him. Heyman began by offering an apology for his actions of sending off NYC policemen on Cody, only because it did not turn out how it was planned.

Heyman then proceeded to deliver his Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns’ message to Rhodes stating during their face-to-face showdown on SmackDown this week, it would be only both of them inside the ring with no members of The Bloodline. Throwing in the final curve ball, Heyman made it clear that Cody would also have to go it alone against Reigns as well, to which he agreed.
