Ever since Randy Orton returned to the ring at Survivor Series: WarGames, he has made his intentions clear that he wants revenge against the Bloodline for injuring him over a year ago. Orton even joined SmackDown so that he could go after the Bloodline.

Randy Orton soon found himself teaming up with LA Knight on SmackDown against the Bloodline. Knight has also been trying to get another shot at Roman Reigns. If this wasn’t enough, AJ Styles also returned to challenge Reigns for the title.

Nick Aldis tried to settle the number one contender dispute a couple of weeks ago with a triple-threat match between Orton, Knight, and Styles. However, the match ended in a no contest after the Bloodline wreaked havoc in the ring. This resulted in Aldis making Reigns’ next title defense a fatal 4-way match at the Royal Rumble which didn’t sit well with the Tribal Chief.

Last week on the blue brand, there was supposed to be a contract signing for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. All three challengers showed up and signed the contract. However, Paul Heyman came out on behalf of Roman Reigns and refused to sign the contract.

LA Knight had enough and spoke about how he was going to win the title from Reigns. This resulted in Styles confronting Knight and a brawl between both Superstars broke. However, Orton was in the ring and he approached Paul Heyman, grabbed his tie and told him he was going to beat Solo Sikoa later in the night.

Given what transpired on SmackDown, Paul Heyman has taken to social media to thank Randy Orton for not attacking him. He also mentioned that LA Knight and AJ Styles are conspiring against him and even offered his services in the future.

“Hmmmmm … @RandyOrton has me all TIED up. Ahem … I’d like to thank the #Viper for his merciful decision not to DDT nor RKO me. Considering the fact AJ Styles and LA Knight are clearly conspiring against Mr Orton regarding this #Fatal4Way Match, I respect his intelligent decision.  If there’s ever any business for us to do in the future …”

Randy Orton will be seen in action at the 2024 Royal Rumble where he will compete against LA Knight, AJ Styles, and Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
