Paul Walter Hauser is continuing his wrestling career with a match against Joey Janela next month.
The Golden Globe-winning actor has made multiple appearances in professional wrestling over the past year. He appeared on AEW Dynamite, where Jeff Jarrett and his crew stole his Golden Globe Award after attacking the Black Bird star.
MLW recently added him to their roster, as well as booking him in a tag team match alongside Paul London. The 38-year-old has wrestled 11 matches so far in his career and seems to be transitioning away from Hollywood and into the wrestling world.
DEFT Wrestling have recently announced on Twitter that Paul Walter Hauser will face off with former AEW Star Joey Janela at their latest event. Janela is known for his hardcore matches, so will be the perfect opponent for the Hollywood star.
The bout is set to take place on February 8th 2025. It will be DEFY’s eighth-anniversary show, which will be a Seattle Street Fight. It is Paul Walter Hauser’s first appearance in DEFY, who merged with PROGRESS Wrestling in February last year.
