WWE fans on Peacock will face paying more for streaming their favorite wrestling shows.

The company signed a $1 billion deal with NBCUniversal in 2021. The historic deal gave NBCUniversal exclusive rights to WWE’s streaming content until at least 2026. This incorporated the WWE Network in to the Peacock streaming service in the United States, with them hosting every live PLE’s in their calendar.

This is separate to the WWE deal with Netflix, which will showcase Raw and Smackdown on their streaming service at the beginning of next year. It won’t affect the current Peacock partnership, although that is set to change next month.

Peacock is set to increase their prices this summer, as they informed current subscribers about the move via email. The premium and premium plus plans will go up by $2 per month, starting on August 17th. Meanwhile, their annual plan will increase by $20, giving you a slight saving by paying yearly.

“Update for WWE fans – Peacock announced a price increase for Premium and Premium Plus plans. The new pricing will will go into effect for current subscribers on your next billing date “on or after August 17, 2024.””

Peacock previously increased their prices in 2023, so this won’t be something WWE fans will be thrilled with.
