Times are tough. According to a report from Variety, Peacock is raising its prices again, the second time in two years. The streaming service is the exclusive home of the WWE Network.

Starting in mid-July, The Peacock Premium plan, which includes advertisements, will see a $2 increase, bringing the monthly cost to $7.99. Similarly, the Peacock Premium Plus plan, which offers a mostly ad-free experience, will also rise by $2, now costing $13.99 per month.

The annual pricing for these plans is also being adjusted; Peacock Premium’s yearly subscription will increase from $59.99 to $79.99, while the Premium Plus annual plan will go up from $119.99 to $139.99.

These new pricing tiers will take effect on July 18 for new Peacock customers, and for existing subscribers, the changes will be reflected in their next billing cycle on or after August 17.

WWE’s deal with Peacock expires in 2026.

Editor’s Opinion:

I get that times are tough, but do we have to see an increase in prices again? Inflation is becoming at an all-time high, and workers are not getting the appropriate compensation at their jobs. Unfortunately, it’s a sign of the times, and I have a feeling that these price increases across streaming services aren’t going to be ending anytime soon.
