Dr. Sophie Chandauka, the chair of Prince Harry’s Sentebale charity, was accused of “playing the race card” after accusing the royal of harassment and bullying.

“This is her plan. As soon as anyone turns against her, she brings the race card in and she comes for you,” an insider told the Telegraph Tuesday.

The source claimed Chandauka accused the board of trustees of bullying after she was confronted over losing a major sponsor for the charity’s annual polo cup.

When the board allegedly pushed Chandauka to resign, she allegedly retaliated with legal action that led to multiple resignations.

“She’s a very poisonous woman and it’s very sad it’s come to this,” the insider added.

Another source claimed to the Telegraph that Chandauka “barged her way in” to get the chair role after she was asked to “help” with the recruitment process.

The insider claimed Chandauka argued she should be considered for the position since she’s a “globally connected US-based black southern African senior executive woman with an exceptional corporate pedigree.”

Chandauka allegedly suggested she would take legal action against the charity if she wasn’t considered and ultimately “passed the interview with flying colors.”

“Of course, she’s going to be quite impressive to those who don’t know her on the board, because she has been in Sentebale before, and she interviews very, very well, comes across very, very well,” the insider claimed.

However, a source close to Chandauka called the allegations “horrific” and “extraordinarily ironic.”

Reps for Sentebale and Harry did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.

The tension between Chandauka and Harry came to light last week when he announced he made the “devastating” decision to leave the charity he founded in honor of his mom, Princess Diana.

The Duke of Sussex, 40, blamed his resignation on an “untenable situation” between Chandauka and the board of trustees.

Meanwhile, Chandauka claimed Harry’s “misogynoir” was to blame in a statement to the London Times.

“Beneath all the victim narrative and fiction that has been syndicated to press is the story of a woman who dared to blow the whistle about issues of poor governance, weak executive management, abuse of power, bullying, harassment, misogyny, misogynoir and the cover-up that ensued,” she said.

Misogynoir is defined as the “hatred of, aversion to, or prejudice against Black women,” according to Merriam-Webster.

Chandauka later told Sky News that Harry’s “damaging” attack against her has led to “harassment and bullying.”

Harry was also accused of sending an “unpleasant” letter to Chandauka after she refused to publicly support Meghan Markle following an awkward moment at a polo match in April 2024.

At the time, the “Suits” alum went viral when she asked Chandauka not to pose next to her husband while he accepted a trophy.

An insider told the Telegraph that Chandauka was left “taken aback” by Harry’s message which had an “imperious” tone. A rep for Sentebale confirmed the letter’s existence to Page Six.
