Powerhouse Hobbs comments on his injury, saying that the only choice is to come back better.
Former TNT Champion Powerhouse Hobbs has been sidelined with an injury, which seemingly occurred when he faced Jon Moxley on the April 24 episode of AEW Dynamite. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful then reported that Hobbs’ injury required surgery.
In a post on Twitter, Powerhouse Hobbs shared his thoughts on his injury and looked ahead to his recovery. He wrote that injuries happen, and doctors told him that he would come back like nothing had happened. Hobbs expressed his frustration, as he noted that nobody comes back from any injury the same. However, he noted that the only choice was to come back better.
Hobbs went on to say that the doctors told him not to worry, and to focus on healing and recovering. He said that they had no idea that his injury was nothing compared to the hall he had been through. Hobbs then vowed to bring hell with him when he came back.
Hobbs is a former TNT Champion, and he has been featured as a member of the Don Callis Family on AEW programming.
