Forest are the only team with better Premier League form, a perfect six out of six. They are home to Liverpool tonight.

This is how the full Premier League table currently now looks on Thursday 14 January 2025:

Premier League Table 114 January 2025

Vitor Pereira took over on 19 December and Wolves experienced that very decent new manager bounce, picking up seven points in three PL games, before crashing 3-0 at home to top of the form league Forest.

However, on Saturday, Wolves were back in winning form, with a 2-1 FA Cup victory away at Bristol City.

Those recent Premier League results have taken Wolves out of the relegation zone but only on goal difference. However, they very much now have something to fight for, so it is vital for Newcastle United that they give the visitors zero encouragement on Wednesday night.
