talkSPORT understands that a deal to take Kyle Walker from Manchester City to AC Milan is agreed.
The England international is set to join the Serie A giants on loan until the end of the season.
There is an option to buy included in the contract, but no obligation.
It follows Walker's request to leave the Premier League champions earlier this month.
The player will now travel to Italy to undergo a medical and put the finishing touches to the deal.

Chelsea's Renato Veiga is set to join Juventus on loan until the end of the season.
The Serie A club are set to sign the defender on a deal until the end of the season, paying a £4million loan fee.
There will be no buy-option in the agreement and will be back at the Blues in time for the Club World Cup at the end of June.

Millwall have made a permanent bid to sign Wolves midfielder Luke Cundle.
talkSPORT understands other Championship clubs are interested in him.
The 22-year-old has been at Wolves since 2014, joining the senior ranks in 2019.
He has enjoyed three loan spells at Swansea City, Plymouth Argyle and Stoke City.
The Warrington-born midfielder has only made seven senior appearances for Wolves.
Champions League update
Premier League sides Arsenal and Man City are both in action in the Champions League tonight.
Arsenal can go into third place with a victory at the Emirates tonight, whilst Man City are looking to jump up the table from 24th place.
A half-time score update for you: Arsenal lead Dinamo Zagreb 1-0 through Declan Rice's goal which came less than two minutes into play.
Man City have struggled throughout the first half but will have been relieved to hear the final whistle after PSG's opener was ruled out for offside.
Achraf Hakimi had the ball in the back but it was all level at the break.
London calling
West Ham have agreed a fee with Belgian club Leuven for 19-year-old midfielder Ezechiel Banzuzi, talkSPORT understands.
The deal is in excess of £10million including add-ons and Banzuzi has been given permission to travel for talks.
Banzuzi, who plays in the Belgian Pro League, joined Leuven from NAC Breda in 2023.
Across 63 games for the club, he has scored five and assisted five more.
He has also represented the Netherlands at under-17, 18, 19 and 21 level.

A curious team selection from Plymouth Argyle has added fuel to the fire regarding the future of talented forward Morgan Whittaker.
The last-placed Pilgrims host Burnley in the EFL Championship tonight as they look to earn valuable points in the fight for survival.
However, against the Clarets, they will have to do it without Whittaker after he was left out entirely of Plymouth's matchday squad.
Whittaker's omission comes amid heavy interest from Middlesbrough and, coincidentally, Burnley in the talented forward.
Middlesbrough have already had a bid, believed to have been around £5million, rejected by Plymouth.
Argyle boss Miron Music labelled Whittaker as the club's 'best player' and 'strongest player' on Monday.
Music also stated Whittaker was 'still under contract so for us he's available and selectable,' which makes his absence from the squad all the more curious.
Whittaker has four goals from 22 appearances this season for Argyle but showed plenty of class last term when he netted 19 times in 46 league appearances.

Wolves are relaxed about the future of Matheus Cunha, talkSPORT understands
The Brazilian currently has two-and-a-half years remaining on his contract at Molineux.
Previous talks regarding a new deal had no bearing on Cunha's immediate future at the club.
Instead, the discussions were about rewarding his form and contribution to the team this season.
No offers have currently been received for the 25-year-old, who the club are adamant is not for sale.
Arsenal and Nottingham Forest have both been linked with moves for Cunha this month.
The forward has 10 goals and four assists in his 21 Premier League appearances this term.

Benjamin Sesko is not actively pushing to leave RB Leipzig, talkSPORT understands.
Arsenal have made a tentative enquiry for the long-term target this month.
However, a January deal is difficult to complete despite Leipzig already being eliminated from the Champions League.
The German side are pushing to qualify for next season's competition, sitting one point outside the Bundesliga top four in fifth place at present.
Sesko is seen as key to their hopes for the remainder of the season.
The 21-year-old, who signed a new five-year deal in June, has scored 13 goals and added three assists in 25 appearances this term.
Meanwhile, the Gunners are yet to make a bid for Wolves' Matheus Cunha.
The Brazilian has been linked with a move to North London as he stalls on a new deal at Molineux.

Erik ten Hag will not be the new manager of Borussia Dortmund, according to Sky Germany.
The former Manchester United boss had emerged as an early contender to replace Nuri Sahin following his departure.
Following discussions at the club on Wednesday, Ten Hag is not currently being considered for the vacant role.
The report adds that Dortmund are put off by the cost of appointing him due to the Dutchman still being on United's payroll.
As a result, the Bundesliga side have instead turned their attentions to Niko Kovac.
The Croatian is available after leaving Wolfsburg last March, having previously managed Bayern Munich and Monaco.
Meanwhile, Ten Hag remains out of work since his Old Trafford exit in October.
The 54-year-old was dismissed by the Red Devils following just over two years in charge in Manchester.

Rodrigo Bentancur has travelled with the Tottenham squad for their Europa League trip to Hoffenheim.
The midfielder was spotted boarding their flight to Germany with Pedro Porro as the Spurs squad jetted off on Wednesday.
Ange Postecoglou's side face their Bundesliga opponents on Thursday in their penultimate league phase clash.
Bentancur has not featured since he was stretchered off against Liverpool in the Carabao Cup earlier this month.
The Uruguayan has since missed Spurs' last three matches in the Premier League and FA Cup.
However, Bentancur is now free to return to the side this week after passing concussion protocol.
The 27-year-old has made 20 appearances across all competitions this season, scoring twice and providing a single assist.
Credit: GettyGarnacho boost
Chelsea have been handed a potential boost in their hopes of signing Alejandro Garnacho.
The Blues have been strongly linked with a move for the Manchester United winger this month.
However, they have faced competition from Italian giants Napoli for his signature.
According to Fabrizio Romano, though, the Serie A side have opened talks over signing another attacking target.
Napoli have instead made contact with Borussia Dortmund regarding Karim Adeyemi.
The 22-year-old forward has scored five goals and provided five assists in 13 appearances this season.
Adeyemi's campain has been hindered by injuries, but he has played five of his side's last six matches in all competitions.
Meanwhile, the report adds that Napoli's talks with United for Garnacho remain ongoing.

Brighton are set to recall Carl Rushworth from his loan at Hull, talkSPORT understands.
The Seagulls plan to keep the 23-year-old at the club once he returns in order to provide extra competition for Bart Verbruggen and Jason Steele.
Rushworth joined Hull on a season-long loan in August, his fifth temporary spell away from the Amex.
However, the former England under-21 international has made just three appearances for the Tigers this season.
Those have come in the side’s last three matches after Rushworth returned to fitness following a knee injury.
Rushworth kept a clean sheet against Millwall earlier this month on his league debut for the Championship strugglers.
Meanwhile, Verbruggen and Steele have made 21 and five appearances, respectively, under Fabian Hurzeler this term.
Across those matches, the pair have kept a combined seven clean sheets.

Tottenham have suffered yet another injury blow.
Pape Matar Sarr was forced to pull out of training on Wednesday ahead of their Europa League clash with Hoffenheim.
The extent of the injury has yet to be confirmed, with Ange Postecoglou set to speak to reporters later today.
Spurs are away in Germany for their penultimate league phase match on Thursday.
It follows a promising injury update for the club after Cristian Romero, Rodrigo Bentancur and Radu Dragusin all trained this morning.
Postecoglou remains without several first-team players, though, as his injury woes continue.
Sarr's potential absence would add to eight other players already ruled out of Thursday's match.
Amongst them are Dominic Solanke, Brennan Johnson and Yves Bissouma, who all picked up problems in the loss to Everton on Sunday.
Credit: GettyArsenal make Sesko move
Arsenal have reportedly made contact over the potential signing of Benjamin Sesko.
The RB Leipzig striker is a key target for the Gunners in 2025.
According to Ben Jacobs, Arsenal have reignited their interest in the Slovenian, making contact with Leipzig over a potential deal.
However, a January move is said to be complicated, despite the German side’s elimination from the Champions League.
Sesko’s agent also recently made it clear the forward will not leave the club on loan this month.
The 21-year-old signed a new five-year deal in June through to the summer of 2029.
He has since scored 13 goals and provided three assists in 25 matches across all competitions for Leipzig this season.
City transfer saga
Manchester City have been accused of telling transfer target Juma Bah to go on strike to force through a move.
The defender, 18, failed to report for training on Wednesday, according to his current club Real Valladolid.
City have been linked with a move for the teenager this month.
Bah is currently on loan at Valladolid from AIK Freetown in his native Sierra Leone, with the deal including a buy option in the summer.
A statement from the Spanish club claims: "Manchester City sent a statement asking Real Valladolid to open negotiations for the player for a possible permanent transfer.
"Today, the Sierra Leonean has decided not to show up at his workplace for morning training.
"For all these reasons, the club holds the player responsible for the breach of his contractual commitments, and has asked its legal department to initiate disciplinary action in this regard.
"The club considers that Manchester City, a member of the City Football Group, is behind the player's decision, and appears to have advised the player to take this route, which puts Real Valladolid in a defenceless position.
"The player's intention, supposedly supported and guided by Manchester City and his agent, has caused great disappointment and indignation within Real Valladolid, who welcomed Juma Bah with open arms and gave him the opportunity of a lifetime."
Maguire on 'nervous' United
Harry Maguire responded to Ruben Amorim's claim Manchester United are 'nervous' at Old Trafford.
Speaking ahead of Thursday's visit of Rangers, Maguire explained: "We spoke about the first goal at Old Trafford. It's not teams coming to Old Trafford and opening us up and tactically breaking us down.
"Anyone that was at the game against Brighton - it was a 50/50 game and could have gone either way and we gave them a goal early on which we knew we had to stop. We spoke about it in the pre-match.
"We have to stop giving away the first goal. The first goal against Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth were set-plays, the first goal against Southampton was from a set-play.
"These aren't things that are tactically a problem - these are things that you have to go into a game focused on and mentally ready to win a football match.
"Football matches are sometimes defined on small margins and at the moment we aren't getting those because we aren't mentally focused enough to make them go our away."
United have lost four of their last five matches at the Theatre of Dreams.
Sunday's defeat to Brighton followed home losses to Nottingham Forest, Bournemouth and Newcastle in the Premier League.
Credit: GettyPlaying for United has 'many ups and downs'
Harry Maguire does not believe his improved form for Manchester United is connected to no longer being club captain.
Former manager Erik ten Hag stripped the defender of the armband in 2023, with Bruno Fernandes taking over as skipper.
Maguire had struggled under the Dutchman but has established himself in Ruben Amorim's back three since his arrival.
He told reporters: "I wouldn't put my form down to that - whether I'm captain or not - I see myself as a leader in this group. I'm experienced now and have been here over five years.
"I know at times when playing for this club there is so many ups and downs and every game that you lose there is a lot of scrutiny on the players and players get targeted - that is part and parcel of playing for this club.
"I look at previous players, the likes of Wayne Rooney and David Beckham - they had large amounts of scrutiny on them and they were world-class players.
"If it can happen to them it can happen to anyone. It's part and parcel of playing for this club.
"Playing for this club is a huge privilege and a huge honour and I wouldn't change it for anything."
Credit: Getty'We have to look at ourselves' says Maguire
Harry Maguire has also been speaking at Manchester United's pre-match press conference.
The defender discussed the players' response to Ruben Amorim's comments following the defeat to Brighton.
Maguire explained: "As players after the game we were really frustrated and disappointed coming off the back of a good away performance. We were confident and felt we could beat Brighton.
"We have to look at ourselves and take responsibility on ourselves.
"As an individual I go home and think about how I can help this team improve and get back to where we want to get to, which is to challenge a lot higher than we are in the league.
"We have to take responsibility and improve individually, which will help the team improve."
Maguire has made 11 appearances since Amorim's arrival at Old Trafford.
Those include the last 10 Premier League matches, which have seen United lose six times.

Ruben Amorim is hopeful Manchester United's form can change quickly.
The Portuguese believes wins against Rangers and Fulham this week would boost 'everything' at the club.
He revealed: "Imagine that tomorrow we don't suffer an early goal and we score and we play well and then we go to Fulham and win it - that will change - even the environment here. Everything.
"I don't want to say it's going to take a lot of time but it is getting really hard. It is really hard for everybody. I don't know if we can change that tomorrow."
Asked if his claim United's players are 'nervous' at home is helpful, Amorim added: "If you want I can be delusional and say different things. I say it as I see it.
"I said it to the players and I said it to you - I think it's a good thing to be really honest.
"If you want me to say different things, I can start to do that because it is easier for me. If you are in the stadium you can feel it but I am not nervous, I am frustrated."
However, he refused to comment on transfer speculation after the possibility of selling Alejandro Garnacho and reinvesting the funds was raised.
Amorim replied: "I understand the question but let's focus on the game. I don't want to talk about that, especially before a game.
"Our focus is that our players are here to play. We need to improve and we need to win games to have that feeling of winning. Let's focus on that."

Ruben Amorim is keen to improve Manchester United's home form.
The Red Devils boss has admitted his side are 'more nervous' playing at Old Trafford.
Sunday's home defeat to Brighton was United's fourth in their last five league matches at the Theatre of Dreams.
Amorim told reporters: "We are more nervous playing at home than away because we've lost four games in five at home and it is getting harder.
"The first thing in my mind is that we need to score the first goal. If we score the first goal then that will change and we will play better at home.
"I think it is really clear - we are really anxious playing at home and it is getting harder to play at Old Trafford."
United are back at home on Thursday, when they face Rangers in the Europa League.
Meanwhile, three of their next five matches in all competition are at Old Trafford.
Credit: Getty'Players doing worse' says Amorim
Ruben Amorim has denied that he used his post-match comments to take away responsibility from the players after the loss to Brighton.
The Manchester United boss said the current squad is 'maybe the worst' in the club's history on Sunday.
Speaking in his press conference today, Amorim clarified: "I am not taking responsibility away from the players.
"What I am saying is, the message you guys showed is that I was putting it on the players. What I am saying is, you have to look really hard to find a Manchester United team that in 10 games lost seven of them, and that is on me.
"It is the same players doing worse with a new coach. That is my only concern at the moment. I am not taking responsibility away from the players but we need to improve in the details and I've explained that.
"The way we play, we are too nervous with the ball. It wasn't the best point to make after that loss but it is what is is and I am like that all the time.
"I am really direct with things and I am saying in this moment, we are performing really bad and our results are really bad.
"It is everything together - the players, the staff, the technical staff. I am the biggest one responsible because I am the coach."

Ruben Amorim has been speaking to reporters ahead of Manchester United's Europa League clash with Rangers.
The Red Devils boss discussed the response of his players since Sunday's defeat to Brighton.
Amorim explained: "I was talking more for myself than for my players because it is hard to find a coach that has lost seven games in their first 10. It is more for me.
"I was talking more about me than the players. I always talk in the same way.
"Every time you [the press] push about the players not being good enough, so I understand that I gave you that headline.
"I am frustrated sometimes and I shouldn't say things in those terms but it is what it is. Sometimes it is really hard to hide the frustration. The good thing is I said the same things in the dressing room five minutes before.
"The response was normal because I am really blunt with my players. They have trained well and they are ready for this game."

Everton are not the only side interested in a loan move for Carney Chukwuemeka.
The Chelsea midfielder could leave Stamford Bridge before the end of the transfer window.
A move to the Toffees is reliant on Armando Broja’s loan being terminated, though.
Meanwhile, West Ham are also keen on signing the 21-year-old this month, Ben Jacobs reports.
There is also interest from the Blues’ sister club Strasbourg in Ligue 1.
Similarly to Everton’s pursuit, a move to Strasbourg would depend on one of the club’s three Chelsea loanees being recalled.
Full-back Caleb Wiley is currently the most likely candidate to return to West London.

Manchester City face a crucial clash with Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League tonight.
A win is necessary for both sides as they bid to book their places in the knockout stages.
City have been handed some major fitness boosts ahead of their trip to the French capital.
John Stones has returned from the foot injury which has limited him to just 45 minutes of action since the end of November.
However, Jeremy Doku will miss the match through injury.
Rodri remains out but fellow absentees Nathan Ake and Oscar Bobb are nearing a return.
Neither of City's January signings will be involved in Paris either.
Vitor Reis and Abdukodir Khusanov are ineligible to play for their new club in the competition until the knockout stage.
