The Hammers are reportedly planning a fresh swoop for Manchester United’s Harry Maguire after failing to complete a deal last summer.
Just like most Premier League teams this campaign, Manchester United have been hit hard by injuries, in particular in their defensive department.
Unexpectedly, it was Maguire who had to step up early on in the campaign to help Erik ten Hag’s side in defence despite the club trying to sell him in the summer.
The English defender was almost on the verge of leaving but reportedly decided to remain at the club with sections of the fanbase upset by this decision.
But with the club expected to be busy in the upcoming summer window, rumours have once again emerged about a potential Maguire departure with West Ham reigniting their interest.
According to a report from the Sun, the Hammers are ready to submit a £15 million bid for the England international after failing last year.

With the 31-year-old only having a year remaining on his contract, the club may be tempted to cash in now while they can.
David Moyes’ side currently sit just four points behind the Red Devils in the Premier League table as they prepare to face Aston Villa on Sunday afternoon.
Meanwhile Manchester United plays bitter rivals Liverpool at Old Trafford in the FA Cup quarter-finals.
